The problem

Every riding practice requires a real horse

  • Limited capacity

A horse can work only 1–2 hours a day and needs rest and care every day.

  • High costs

Keeping a horse costs ~€1,000 a month. Riders pay €40–150 for an hour’s lesson.

  • Poor accessibility

Stables need land, infrastructure and capital, usually far from where riders live.

Why nowRiding has become significantly more expensive, and people are increasingly concerned about rider safety and horse welfare.

The solution

One simulator does the work of 10 horses at half a horse’s cost

  • vs. limited capacity

    Scalability

A simulator can run 24/7, never gets sick and needs no rest.

  • vs. high costs

    Lower costs

A simulator costs about half of what a horse does. Riders pay a fraction of the price of a lesson on a real horse.

  • vs. poor access

    Easy access

Fits a sports or golf studio close to riders. Instructor optional.

HowCopies the movements of any living horse, reacts to the rider’s aids like a real horse. Showjumping, dressage and eventing.

  • 1

    Motion capture

We capture and process the motion dynamics of real horses.

  • 2

    Robotic replication

A robotic platform reproduces that motion. Clone any real horse.

  • 3

    Sensing & ML

Sensors and ML read subtle rider aids and respond in real time.

The market

€2.6B in hardware and €342M a year in subscriptions

  • Riders335Mpeople ride at least occasionally, 177M of them regularly
  • TAM57,000riding schools and golf studios (44,000 + 13,000). One simulator each: €2.6B in hardware + €342M a year in subscriptions
  • SOM10,000+simulators sold by 2035 in our plan (141 by 2029)

Upside not counted: individual riders, therapy centres and sports centres.

Nielsen Sports, Dec 2023; Golfzon venue network, 2026. €2.6B = 57,000 × €45k. €342M = 57,000 × €500 × 12. Plan: Ridable financial model, Oct 2026.

Business model

The business is in the subscriptions

The subscription covers all simulator costs and is priced at about half of a living horse’s monthly cost.

  • Ridable

    Hardware-enabled recurring revenue

Sells or leases the hardware, with a monthly subscription.

  • Customer

A horse that works as much as needed

Riding school, golf studio, individual rider, riding therapist. No on-site staff required.

  • Riders

    Affordable, safe, effective

Riding close to home, at a fraction of the price of a lesson on a real horse.
